Thank you for your interest in the Aquatic Ecosystems Analysis Lab
We are always interested in finding exceptional and highly motivated students to join our team. Students in my lab employ a diverse range of approaches, including laboratory experiments, field research, and modeling, to address broad questions in ecology. Because much of our work is collaborative, students should be able to work smoothly in a group dynamic.
Students interested in joining the Aquatic Ecosystems Analysis Lab for Master's- or Ph.D-level research should contact Dr. Chandra directly with a letter of interest. Please include in your letter relevant information about yourself, such as research background, undergraduate GPA, GRE scores, and why you are interested in joining my lab specifically. Applicants should have a 3.3 GPA or greater and are encouraged to apply for graduate fellowships prior to submitting their application to UNR. Examples include those offered by the National Science Foundation and the Environmental Protection Agency. Submission deadlines for these opportunities are typically in October and November of each year.
